  • As a result of numerous lumbar spine surgeries, I developed Peripheral Neuropathy in my legs and feet. My feet were to the point that, if a sheet touched my feet in bed, I would feel pain. My Neurologist prescribed medication that helped but not to the point that I was comfortable. A friend suggested trying acupuncture. I searched the Internet for Neuropathy and Acupuncture in my area and Danielle's name came up. After speaking with Daneille about my situation, I made an appointment for my first session. Danielle is very open to discussing expectations and we spoke about what results I might expect. After the first treatment, I felt better but, as I continued with additional treatments, the relief lasted longer and longer. I was able to sleep at night and sheets touching my feet did not bother me. I was able to do more things that I was unable to do such as begin to exercise. I attribute the improvement to the Acupuncture and would recommend anyone with similar circumstances try a few treatments.

  • It does not get any better then Danielle! I have been doing acupuncture for over twenty five years all over the USA! Finding Danielle was such a blessing!   • MIA acupuncture is a gem ! .. The owner, Danielle is so gentle, knowledgeable, professional , and affordable ! She really cares about her patients and follows through until she sees they have healed.. I went to Danielle to regulate my menstrual cycle .. I had been on the pill for so long my cycle was a hot mess. With a couple acu sessions and a few herbs later, Danielle helped me get back on track . Even when I became regular, Danielle followed up with me for a few months after, making sure I stayed balanced and on track . Thanks Danielle and MIA.. I'm still very active, and it wasn't until I had the chance for a visit to danielle's studio at MIA that I can finally see and FEEL tangible results...she's not only talented, but extremely professional, incredibly knowledgeable and perhaps most important during these times, affordable!

  • My doctor wanted to induce me at week 38 due to my developing high blood pressure as a result of my pregnancy. I wanted to deliver naturally so I decided to start acupuncture sessions in hopes that this would help get things moving. I did 3 acupuncture sessions, and after the third session, Danielle recommended the moxibustion treatment as a way to help induce delivery at home. I was a little skeptical but I wanted to do everything I could to have a natural birth, so I purchased the moxibustion sticks. I had my husband do the treatment on me a few days later before we went to bed, and 7 hours after my first moxibustion treatment, my water broke. I had a wonderful experience and a very quick delivery. These sessions really helped relax me and prepare me for giving birth. I’m definitely coming back for my next pregnancy!

  • When I was diagnosed with placenta previa at the end of my second trimester, the doctor said we would just have to wait and see if it moved up on its own by week 28. There was really no medical treatment, and although I am all for traditional medicine, my dad being a doctor and all, I wasn’t going to wait it out, so I called danielle and asked her if there was something that could be done by using acupuncture. Not really knowing what to expect, as I had never used acupuncture before, I scheduled my first appointment and started treatment. By week 28 the placenta had moved a little, but not enough for a vaginal delivery, so the doctor told me that on our next appointment, we would tentatively schedule a c-section. I continued to go to my acupuncture appointments and on week 31, when the placenta was supposed to already be implanted when it was by week 28, the placenta had completely moved up and out of the way! Thanks danielle!
